We stopped for a bathroom break, but my husband decided he was going to order us all bacon DOUBLE cheeseburgers. It was 11 am and I was thinking we might get lunch at somewhere a little nicer than the side of the road truckstop. Boy was I apologizing for my complaint by the time this bad boy came out. I literally had to remove one of the giant pattys to fit it in my mouth. Not only enormous and Perfectly seasoned, the meat was not that preformed frozen patty stuff, everything made to order, like they had to cook the bacon on the griddle! So good! Great lil store with lots of snacks and Texas souvenirs. Also connected to it is a western wear store with clothes and boots! So you can do a lil shopping while your food digests!

Es un lugar agradable con personas amables, hay suficiente espacio para estacionar el camión. No le puse 5 estrellas porque no me quisieron vender cigarros debido a que querían ver mi pasaporte y visa, pero todo lo demás muy bien. Por cierto el café es delicioso

I absolutely adore this truck stop. I ordered three eggs, sausage, toast, biscuits and gravy and sliced tomatoes with a drink for under $15 The staff were very friendly and helpful and I was promptly served. The little shopping center has some wonderful clothing boots and handbags for men women and children. And also a nice selection of perfumes and colognes. The gift shop inside of the gas station has tons of cowboy themed bobbles and artwork.
I was quite happy with the ladies restroom as it was very clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. The small town everyone knows everyone atmosphere was lovely

This rest stop is amazing. I really had to pee on my road trip back to Houston, and there was no restroom in sight. My bladder was battling demons trying to hold it in. When I was about to lose all hope (and quite possibly, my dignity), like an angel descending from Heaven this rest stop appeared. I ran into the shop, tears streaming down my face from relief and joy. I assure you, this place would’ve gotten a 5 star rating if it wasn’t for the unsightly cricket waiting to attack me from the toilet bowl. Luckily, his torment ended that day, as I flushed him (that’s right mf), and he was never to be seen again (may he rot in hell). With an impatient father awaiting my arrival back to the car , I made my departure; a bag of flamin’ hot Cheetos sitting in my arms. I rate the overall experience a 4/5 stars (damn cricket) and I highly recommend this rest stop!

It was a Great Truck Stop. Small store. And a Super nice place to buy lots clothes and gifts. They had Jean's, Overalls, Cowboys boots, Hats, Cowboy Hats, Tennis Shoes, Belts, Dresses, Shirts and much much more. So much to pick from. And jewelry as well.
On store side they had a small menu to order from and then they make it fresh. Booths to sit and enjoy your meal. They had a medium size all gravel truck parking. It has laundry facilities there as well. All the staff was Super Friendly, nice and Very Helpful. There is also a Great Restaurant there as well. It is called Armadillo Grill. The Poppers were Amazing. All of our food was Great. We will definitely be come back if we have a load going that way.

Great customer service and great negotiating with the owner of Star Travel Center. A fabulous 3' Indian Chief with spear and piece pipe, along with a 4' teepee lamp with rawhide skin. Beautiful purchase to fill out my heritage collection. I will charish these for a very long time. It was a pleasure doing business with you, sir.

Я вообще ехал в другое место что бы пообедать, и остановился просто что бы заправится, но когда я увидел как парень около кассы готовит бургер я не удержался! Это топ !!!! Это очень натуральный и безумно вкусный бургер !

A fantastic stop while driving by Bowie. The store was pretty equipped with a large collection of essentials and local small business snacks. They also had a clothing store and lots of food options. The restrooms were clean.
