Came for a thorough lookover of my 2006 Subaru Legacy Wagon (as though I was going to buy it used; dealers have to focus on throughput, not think-through sometimes 🙂 ). Very pleased with the information.

The clunk is gone!
Came by for help with a vibration on acceleration in addition to a clunk (concerned that either or both would affect the transmission or reflect an issue with a front transaxle) Richard and a female tech checked tha car out and narrowed the issue to the (probably 18 year old) transmission mount permitting too much movement. They installed new front sway bar bushings and end links while it was up on the lift.
Many more items on my inspection list. Next are the transmission mount and an aftermarket transmission cooler line leak, which they can do.
Such a relief to find a shop able/willing to repair Gen 3 Subaru Legacy wagons.?

Update: transmission mount, transmission cooler and mount, transmission strainer and trans pan cleanout, engine mount, a Florida-sized radiator—check. Well done!

Update: TLC for the Gen 3 Legacy wagon continues with front lower control arms/ball joints. Not only is the front-end clunk gone, but the front end feels very solid. Thanks so much, PerfCon?❤️

Paid 2900 plus dollars for engine work and problem was never fixed ! 7 months later the problem exist ! Then I was told they would not honor the work that they were supposed to do! This was a horrible experience and poor customer service! I will not recommend any more work done at this shop! They offer a 30 day warranty for engine work! I’m so appalled
