Chris rebuilt my 4b11 on my Evo X and the communication, professionalism, and quality of work was excellent. They also took apart the transmission to install upgraded center diff pins (known issue on '08 GSR's) and everything has been running flawlessly since getting it retuned by an Evo X specialist (different Chris at Moore Automotive in NOVA). Everyone at JE was very flexible and helpful with ordering parts, explaining their findings, and allowing me to pop in and out to pick up parts for coating or dropping off parts I purchased. I would recommend their work to a friend. They know their stuff and a short conversation with them will quickly reveal this to any first time customers.

5 stars all the way for JE, I recently brought my car in for a D.I.Y tuning session and the experience was great!
Chris provided excellent service and had the car set up on the Dyno very quickly.
I’m usually too afraid to take my car to a shop, but JE is the only place I trust to take great care of my car.

They were the place I've taken my car to in awhile. Efficient, very professional!!! These guys know there stuff. I will be back anytime I need anything. My car went out of alignment and they honored a wheel alignment and to check why it's out and fixed it in a fast time. I greatly appreciate my guys at je imports!!!

these people charged me $1000 to put a rear in my new sport car. after they finished.
the mechanic push it out of the shop,and told me I need a transmission. on a new car.
the sales rep. help me. but the mechanics I would not trust with a lawnmower.
just a money GRAB. no respect for the customer.

In September 2018 I was quoted $3,600 for an SR20DET swap on a 1996 240sx, with the promised it should only take a couple of months to complete the job. Two years later, after charging me $12k in labor (114hrs in labor) the car was not done and returned damaged (see pictures). I ended up having to sell the car and cut my losses. Would not recommend this place at all!

The shop will always say they never did anything wrong as you can see the response below. If anyone needs details on my case, I have detail proof. Please reach out via email and I can provide you the invoices and a list of their "justifiable" charges.

I went to JE Performance for my car and was told that it wasn’t worth repairing. After speaking with the tech here and showing him the car, he stated that the other shop made it much worse then they stated so I requested and paid for another diagnostic. After paying for the diagnostic, the tech said that he would email me the list of items to get done but never did. I called and spoke to him twice but he never returned my call or emailed me. Basically charged me the diagnostic to get the funds with no intention on repairing the vehicle. Either these people are lazy or thieves. Be very careful or avoid this shop entirely.

10/10 shop with fair rates especially if you have a modified car. They’ve done a lot of work on my car over the past 2 years and have always gotten me back on the road ASAP. Very knowledgeable and they stand by their work. Had an issue with my rear main seal leaking and they warrantied the work no problem.
