I recently visited this location, and while we appreciated the feature presentation, I cannot say the same about their customer service. My experience with Ron was less than satisfactory, and he may benefit from additional training.

I understand that everyone has the right to have bad days, but being disrespectful just because you work for AAFES does not bode well with me. If you are unable to deliver exceptional customer service, even if you have to fake it, look for another job.

No the best theater at all. But provides a decent service to our soldiers. Number one issues NO AC in the building at all. Sweating through the whole movie.

It's good enough. I'm spoiled by theater's in the states. The seats here are on the smaller size. The theater itself is small and the sound is just acceptable. The concessions counter does not have the greatest choices and the sometimes there is a wait for popcorn. Overall good enough.

It troubles me to give this location more than a one-star rating, but they do provide a service to our armed forces members who are overseas, so I'll add a star. I'd like to begin by saying that I was prompted to give this establishment a review after viewing a second film within a short time. After careful consideration, I think a review would be fitting.

The first time I came here to watch a film was in 2014. My family and I were new to our second duty station and were extremely happy that this base had such amenities for service members to enjoy American cinema while stationed here. We would visit this location with friends and families for just about every major film or simply because it was a rainy weekend. Then, the bar was set, and I never, for any reason, felt like the service or location was subpar.

Fast forward to 2022; this is the second time my family and I have gotten to enjoy Europe on taxpayer funds. Puss in Boots was the first film at this location that surprised us with the new door opening protocol. We missed a solid 20 minutes of the beginning of that movie despite being there nearly an hour before showtime. The man handing out the tickets said that this is how they do business and that sometimes folks miss parts of the movies because they are limited on when they can open and when they have to start the movie. He said they don't have a way to gauge how successful a movie will be, so they just do everything the same way every time, no matter how big the film may be.

In the Super Mario movie, a very similar situation happened. We missed the first 15 minutes, even though we waited outside for 45 minutes. Then today, for Guardians of the Galaxy, we missed the first 23 minutes even though we showed up an hour prior.

This location needs to learn how to manage a large line of people who have been waiting outside to watch a movie. That or hire a manager who cares about what they are doing. After all, you are working at a location that provides a service for our armed forces members and their families; you don't need to act like the VA.

In my opinion, this location is now taking advantage of the service members by giving them half-hearted service since their options for establishments like this are limited. After all, what are we going to do? Run the risk of a movie being in German out in the economy?

Do better and take pride in what you do. Stop wasting our time and money. Do what you used to do.

Great experience here. The prices were super, the snacks were all fresh and delicious, and the viewing experience here was top notch. Obviously it's a typical military movie theater, without a dozen choices, but if you want to see the movie they're showing, this place offers a great option at a great price.

Another review said "I'm spoiled by the theaters in the states" hahaha obviously hasn't been to a German theater. Not only are the modern, filled with amenities like restaurants and bars, but Germany also has the worlds largest and most advanced IMAX theater. Anyways, this is just a standard base theater. 3 is fair. It's good just nothing spectacular so don't expect hdr/hfr/3d anytime soon

This is a 30 year old military theater with almost 600 seats. Its the biggest movie theater I've ever been in. The projector and sound system have been upgraded to the latest digital technology so you can expect a good movie experience. Managment is great, they are always on time and will open the doors early if needed. The only reason I don't give a higher rating is because the seating needs to be upgraded as well. Have fun
